Dr. Ei Hlaing MBBS, FRACGP

Dr. Hlaing is a qualified medical professional who completed her MBBS from the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, Myanmar in 2011. Since 2015, she has worked at Hervey Bay Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and Monash Health before joining General Practice training in rural Victoria. Dr. Ei obtained her Fellowship in General Practice in 2021.
As a generalist, Dr. Ei is experienced in treating patients with a variety of medical conditions, including chronic disease management, women’s health, mental health and paediatrics. She is also trained in Implanon insertion and removal, which allows her to provide contraceptive options to her patients.
Dr. Ei has a particular interest in youth health and believes that young people are an essential part of society. Her warm and approachable personality has made her popular among her patients, especially young people.
Outside of work, Dr. Ei enjoys reading and bushwalking.
