Allied Health

Langwarrin Medical Clinic recognises the importance of incorporating local allied health treatments when patient ailments or conditions can benefit from complementary health services.

Allied health professionals provide direct patient care, rehabilitation, treatment and health improvement interventions to restore and maintain optimal physical, sensory and psychological health.

Our medical team works in with  the relevant health professional to develop a personalised treatment plan that best fits the needs of each patient, to ensure all aspects of health management are appropriately considered.

Currently our allied health services include:

  • Diabetes education
  • Diet and nutrition
  • Physiotherapy
  • Podiatry
We rely on our feet every day, so it’s important to take good care of them. A podiatrist is trained to treat patients suffering from a wide range of foot and ankle disorders.

If you are experiencing problems with your feet, ankles or lower limbs in general, make an appointment with our podiatrist, who will guide you on the best way to address your injury or concern.

Langwarrin Medical Clinic has a podiatrist on site every second Friday, providing a range of services, including:

    • Heel pain (plantar fasciitis)
    • Custom orthotics
    • Exercise physiology
    • Sports Podiatry
    • Children’s feet
    • Diabetic foot care
    • Corns and calluses
    • Toenail problems
    • Dry skin and cracked heels
